Welcome to The Walter Farthing Trust, an independent foundation that awards small grants to support local charitable and not-for-profit organisations, to benefit people throughout Mid-Essex (Chelmsford, Maldon and Braintree Council areas).
We strive to be innovative and are continuously working on ways to deliver even better support to our local community. Our purpose is to provide support to local charitable endeavours and through providing grants, enable members of the community to achieve their goals.
We hope to create a lasting change in people’s lives, helping them contribute to, and benefit from, what is on offer in the local area.
